I don't coach from theory. I coach from the same competence gap you're standing in.
For 25+ years I worked in healthcare, building systems, managing teams, holding complexity that others couldn't. At home, I was married for 25+ years. Not a carousel of chaos. Something quieter and more expensive: over-functioning, translating everyone's emotional needs, and running on resilience while my own emotional bandwidth sat in the corner.
That competency is a strength. It is also a beautifully disguised self-abandonment.
I turned the same strategic, analytical mind I used for others onto my own patterns. Deep work in evidence-based psychology, attachment theory, and boundary architecture. My natal chart functioned as a diagnostic snapshot; mapping the loyalty patterns and survival strategies I had been running for decades.
I did not need more grit. I needed a different strategy for how I related to myself and the people I love.
